Lumecca IPL
An even skin tone is one of the biggest signs of healthy, younger-acting skin.
There is a growing concern among patients regarding hypo- and hyperpigmentation as they age. To restore even skin tone, energy-based treatments, such as Lumecca, are most effective.
Lumecca IPL is very powerful and effective in treating skin pigmentation and vascular lesions. Lumecca is one of the worlds most powerful IPL Lasers available. By utilizing photo-thermolysis, it delivers a comfortable and effective light treatment to reaveal clearer, brighter skin from the first treatment.
Key Benefits of Lumecca IPL:
-
Lumecca IPL treatments are highly efficient, meaning they can provide transformational results quickly.
-
An average treatment lasts 30 minutes, making it convenient for everyone. Because of the large spot size and high pulse repetition rate, the treatment is so fast.
-
Lumecca IPL is generally more powerful than other IPL treatments.
-
It can be performed in 1-2 treatments rather than other IPL treatments, which require up to six sessions.
-
Due to the sapphire cooling tip, Lumecca IPL is also more comfortable than other IPL treatments.
What is Lumecca by InMode?
Lumecca is a breakthrough intense pulsed light (IPL) laser therapy with up to 3X more energy in the 500-600 nm range, which makes it more effective when treating vascular and pigmented lesions. It is designed to target dark brown and red spots as well as veins and vessels. There is no better treatment for Rosacea than this. By stimulating collagen production, it also improves fine lines and pore size.
The Lumecca IPL laser uses photo-thermolysis through the delivery of specific wavelengths of light that interact with red and brown pigments in the skin. As the pigment absorbs the light, it is destroyed, often in only one to three sessions. If you’re looking for a complexion free of dark spots and redness, Lumecca may be the answer!
Am I a Candidate for Lumecca IPL?
There are several skin conditions that can be treated with Lumecca IPL, including brown/red blemishes, sunspots, age spots, vascular redness, broken blood vessels, Rosacea, and mole-like discoloration. It is normal for age spots and freckles to appear darker after Lumecca treatment for the first 3 - 7 days.
Lumecca IPL treatment is not recommended for people with tanned skin. You may need to postpone the treatment if you are taking Accutane, are pregnant, or have chronic health conditions. For the treatment to be safe, you should be in good health.

How Does Botox Work?BOTOX was developed to target the cause of fine lines and wrinkling. Over time, facial expressions such as squinting, smiling or frowning cause the facial skin to contract, over and over. BOTOX is injected into the muscles in constant motion, causing them to relax. With reduced muscle activity you will see smoother skin and fewer facial lines.
-
When Should You Start Getting Botox? There is no set age to start getting BOTOX treatments. If you are in your mid-20s, you might begin to see superficial lines around your eyes. Or maybe a bit later in life, you notice wrinkling, deeper creases created by facial motions, called “dynamic wrinkles.” Men and women of all ages can benefit from BOTOX injections.
-
Does Botox treatment hurt?BOTOX is injected using a tiny needle, and most patients do not find the injections painful. You may feel a small pinch from the needle at the injection site.
-
When will I see results? You should begin to see results in a few days after your BOTOX injections. Optimal results are achieved at two weeks.
-
How long does Botox last?Depending on how well you care for your skin, BOTOX injections can last in the range of four to six months before requiring retreatment.
-
Can I get Botox while pregnant or breastfeeding? It is not recommended to receive any BOTOX treatments while pregnant or breastfeeding. The effects of the treatment are local but pregnant women must be more careful than others due to the growing baby. During this time alternative treatments such as mild facials or scrubs can keep your skin fresh and glowing.

Which is better: Botox or Fillers? While both Botox and dermal fillers like Restylane are long-lasting treatments that can be used to reduce wrinkles, they each take slightly different approaches, treat slightly different problems, and are used in different areas of the face. Botox relaxes muscles so they don't contract and form creases, while dermal fillers fill in or plump up areas that have lost volume or smoothness.
